After my mission, I went to BYU for a couple years and worked at the hospital. In 1987 I married my best friend Alan Blackham and we have 7 children. Shalyn 17, Andrew 16, Tony 15, Alex 11, Kalista 9, Adam 6 and Aaron 1. I've kept up my nursing skills at the hospital a couple shifts a month. My husband graduated from BYU in accounting and was offered a good job with a bank so we stayed in Utah valley. He is currently serving as the Bishop in our ward so I spend all of my time being a mom and chauffer and love it.
My parents have spent much of the last decade in church service, including being mission and MTC presidents and I have a whole new appreciation for Presidents Vidal and Pingree and their families as they sacrificed so many things to be there for us.
If anyone knows how to get naranjilla in the states, let me know.
