I served in the MTC with Mark Adkins, in Quevedo with "Tito" Torres and E. Urquidi, Esmeraldas with E. "Harry" Landieres and E.Sampson "what a stud", Tumbaco with Hernandes and Jenkins, Ambato with mi pana Kleber Garcia, former roommate and best man Eugene Ingram and E. Stuart, Quevedo again, loved it, with E. V? from Cuenca and the crazyest greenie ever, Shawn Brock. Favorite memories are batidos in Quevedo, baptisms and p-days on the beach in Esmeraldas,many wonderful discussions and an occasional baptism (about .75 per month per missionary), Ano Nuevo and political riots in Ambato, that bus ride from Quito to Quevedo and staying up at night talking with my pension companions, ie: P-Noche! I remember bus rides going from 2 to 3 sucres, 10 sucre mil |
