Met wife (Julie) while serving on the LDS Institute Council. Have 3 children (2 boys and 1 girl) and a cat (Tiger). Have been heavily involved in Boy Scouting. Oldest son got Eagle at 13, Varsity Letter at 14, Venturing Silver at 17. Younger received Eagle at 12, Varsity Letter at 14, and currently working Venturing Awards. Daughter is on school dance team.
Served as Scoutmaster, Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner, Varsity Scout Roundtable Commissioner, Order of the Arrow Assistant Adviser, Institute Council (Salt Lake Community College) Young Men's Presidency (ward and stake), Nursery (several times), Primary Teacher (several times), Elders Quorum Instructor (several times), Gospel Doctrine Instructor (several times), Sunday School President, Financial Clerk, Membership Clerk, and Ward Employment Specialist, Veil Worker at Salt Lake Temple, and Baptistry Salt Lake Temple.
