I married Shelley Matkin in 1994 (she served in the Japan Okayama Mission). I graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1997 having studied International Relations and Political Science. I have three children - Jordan (1997), Emily (2000), and Clara (2004). I am currently a senior program manager for the IT division of TELUS, a major telecommunications company in Canada.
