Married Sister Julie Kennedy of the FTM. Have 4 children; 17 year old boy, 14 year old daughter, and 12 year old twin boys.
We have lived in Kansas City, Salt Lake City, North Ogden, Seattle and now currently live in Meridian, Id (Boise area.) We love it here and intend to stay for awhile.
I am employed by SC Johnson as a sales manager. Julie has given up her teaching career so that she can run our little gluten free grocery store, "Jake's Place, The Gluten Free Store." We opened this store upon finding out that our two twin boys and I had celiacs disease or a resistance to gluten.
The most pleasure I find in life is with my wife and kids. Love the gospel and enjoy serving others in it. I have served in many callings in the church. For the past 9 years I have had direct relations with the YM and YM as I served as ward YM's President and as Bishop. Iam currently serving as the Stake YM's President. I love the youth and working with them. It keeps me thinking young. That is until I realize my mind says yes but my body says no as I try to keep up with them. |
