My wife, Barbara, and I are soon to have an "empty nest". Our youngest daughter Rebekah has been called to the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission and will be entering the MTC on June 7, 2006. Those of you who might we living in those mission boundaries, keep an eye out for her.
Our oldest daughter, Elizabeth, is married to Karsten Anderson who is a pilot in the Air Force. They are currently stationed in Enid, Oklahoma. They have a son, Seth (2), and a daughter, Miriam (1 1/2 months).
Our son, Jacob, is married to Jessica. They have a son, Adam (2), and are expecting a daughter in July. My son is still attending school at Texas Tech while working as a producer of education videos for the health profession. He served a mission in Portugal from 1999-2001.
Our middle daughter, Catherine, is married to Mark Shannon. She just graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in music and she enjoys teaching violin. Mark is majoring in Architecture and still has some time left at Tech. He served a mission in Minnesota.
They have a daughter, Hannah (1).
I have been active in church callings since being released from the mission in 1971. Among those callings, I served as bishop from 1995-2000 and am now serving on the high council.
I am currently a dentist and work for Covenant Health System providing dentistry for indigent people here in this area. Most of my work is done from a mobile dental truck complete with a dental operatory. |
