I currently serve as executive secreatary in Rockford 2nd Ward. I've loved past callings as elder's qourum president, ward missionary, assistant scoutmaster, veil worker, priest quorum advisor, and numerous others. I love our youth, missionaries, and the temple and have been priviledged to sit in on many mission council meetings with Pres. & Sis. Doll, the zone leaders, and sister missionaries. And is transfer driver an official church calling? At the March 4th, 2011 council meeting which was also Pres. Doll's birthday he offered me a seat in a recliner before the meeting. I nodded off during zone reports and at lunch he told me I snored a few times as he started his presentation to everyone's amusement. I've recently reconnected with Rob Bennett who tracted me out 37 years ago and there's an alumni photo of J. Bradley Smith who interviewed me for baptism. I can also be contacted on facebook. |
