Servered in Terre Haute, Indiana form September 1949 to Feburary 1950 in the Great Lakes Mission. From Feb 1950 I served in Portsmouth and Columbus Ohio until my release in Fort Wayne Ind.(mission headquarters) June 1950. The mission was created in Oct of 1949...Carl C. Burton President. The mission was created from the then Northern States which included six (6) states. I have fond memories of Terre Haute and the success we had there...Great experiences. My companion in Terre Haute...was Richard Millet who just passed away last October.(2000)
I have been able to attend the Great Lakes mission reunion each spring in SLC.
