| Your story reminded me of a time while I was out there.
I was at a special meeting with all the zone leaders. We were recieving instruction from Elder Loren C. Dunn.
Unknown to me, my companion had decided to turn on his tape recorder and record it all. In the middle of his teaching the tape stopped (for one reason or another), making a noise that everyone quickly noticed.
Elder Dunn asked if he had been recording the lesson. My companion answered that he had indeed been recording it, we could tell he was embarrassed. Elder Dunn explained that you should never record a general authority without their prior consent.
Later on he tried to listen to the tape. It was all muddled, you couldn't make out a single word. It was a bit of a testimony builder to see that all take place but hearing your story reminded me of that, and it again reaffirms to me the truthfulness of the gospel. The Lord really can do anything. |
