| Comments: Swan Beng (Jenny) Low and I were the first Sisters to serve in Indonesia. We were called as welfare missionaries. Endang Prihatini and Darsi, both of Solo, were the first Indonesia sisters called and were assigned to work with us. I'm retired after working at the MTC for close to 20 years. I was a director of training and my last assignment was to supervise all Asian languages and the welfare missionaries. I have also served as a missionary in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. I directed a child health project in Nigeria, West Africa. I served as a member of the Relief Society General Board from 1986-1997. Right now I'm doing a lot of traveling and teaching (Know Your Religion and women's conferences mostly). Some writing. Life is good. I appreciate you, Dave, for helping us have ways to keep in touch and share our feelings of love and appreciation for the people and experiences we shared in Indonesia. Terima Kasih! MEE | |
