| Comments: Rose and I have 5 children (May06). The boys (Devon and Adrian) are 19 and 16 and the girls (Twyla, Chelsea & Shaelea) are 13, 10 and 3. Devon just received a call to the California Arcadia Mission. We have lived in Kelowna, BC (3 hr drive from Vancouver) for the last 8 years - there are about 100,000 people here and a beautiful lake. We ski nearby in the winter each Saturday (Big White) and the summers are spent by the lake. My company (Bridges Transitions Inc.) is being sold to a Los Angeles based company called Xap Corporation - this presents some uncertaintly for my job here. Prior to my 5 years with Bridges, I was the Treasure of a public truck/buss manufacturer and prior to that I spent 12 years in corporate banking after getting my MBA, in Toronto and Vancouver. I was released as Bishop in Jun/05 and am back as YM President (95% of my post-mission callings have been in Young Men). We had a great time in Bali in May 2004 with Lloyd & Ivy Cook - climbed to the peak of Gunung Agung (10,000 ft) to watch the sunrise over the ocean. My family's favorite food is Gado Gado and Sate Ayam - we still have it every month. Hard to find Sambal Badjak in the stores, but you can find Durian in every supermarket in Canada.... | |
