Revised schedule of Indonesian guests at BYU 27 Sep 2006
Revised schedule of up coming Indonesian lectures at BYU. All are open to the public and free of charge

1. Monday October 2nd (changed from the 3rd) from 4:15 to 5:15 in 306 JRCB (Law School) Ridwan Lubis (Head of Research on Religious Harmony at the Department of Religious Affairs and Rector at the Islamic University in Lampung) will speak in a panel discussion with a delegate from India and a delegate from Cambodia on the general topic of religious freedom. Bapak Ridwan will talk about recent governmental changes to facilitate greater religious freedom in Indonesia.

2. Tuesday October 10th 11:00 AM. Forum in the Marriott Center. Alwi Shihab—Presidential Envoy to the Middle East, Former Foreign Minister of Indonesia, Former Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare (where he helped distribute LDS humanitarian aid), and a good friend of the LDS Church. Dr. Shihab’s address is entitled “Building Bridges to Harmony through Understanding.” He will be introduced by President Packer. Following the lecture a question and answer session will be held at noon in the Marriott Center Cougar Room.

3. Thursday October 12th. 11:00 (changed from noon) in 238 HRCB. Kennedy Center Lecture. Sudjadnan Parnohadiningrat, newly installed Indonesian Ambassador to the U.S.
