I have just spoken to Sister Shurtleff over the phone and she is looking forward to my stay with her for a few days. First thing she said to me was that she really missed all of you (those who knew her and still remember her as your Mission mother) and she wished she could turn back her clock and join me for the mini-reunion. I have promised her one thing - I will make as many pictures as I can during the mini-reunion and transfer them to one of her daughter's computers so that she can see the attendees. If anyone of you who wish to send her a card for her birthday as a surprise, it would be the best birthday present for her. To those of you who will meet with me, you can hand in your cards to me or we can get a big card and put all our signatures in it for me to hand deliver to her -- best courier service!
