This year two Indonesians will participate in BYU's annual law and religion symposium. Parlindunga Purba is a member of parliament from Medan. He has worked closely with LDS charities in distributing wheelchairs in Sumatra. Thomas Edison is Directorate General, Christian Community Guidance, Department of Religion. Both men are good friends of the Church. Their wives will also attend the conference. Both men will present a paper about religious freedom in Indonesia on Monday October 6th at 3:00 pm in the J.
