2005-Nov: Fisherman in Banda Aceh with 11 children

David Brewer	From Pres. Jensen: The highlight of our last two months has been the visit of Elder and Sister Tingey. Our visit in Banda Aceh was incredible. We saw and visited with so many appreciative and grateful people and leaders. The Church is assisting with many projects of livelihood restoration including providing new fishing boats for many of the fishermen that lost everything in the tsunami. We even went on a boat ride in one of the recently finished boats. One of the men we met was a man who was only 43 years old. He was a successful fisherman with a large family (11 children). The tsunami killed his wife and two of his children. When we met him, he was one of the happiest men I have ever met. He had the best attitude and instead of grieving over his loss, he expressed gratitude over what he still had. He said every night he goes home to his 9 beautiful children. They are a close family and he said there is never an argument in his home - his children are all obedient and he is grateful.	27 Nov 2005
