| Comments: I served from January 1979-1981 under President Marvin L. Pugh and Reed M. Broadbent. I began in Ballymun Dublin and ended in Wexford. I had great companions. The IDM holds very precious memories for me. I met and married Annette Gardner while we were both attending the University of Utah. We have 5 children (boy girl boy girl boy). I am a mechanical engineer. We hosted Jonathan Elder from Ireland in summer (1998). He had just completed his mission in Scotland. He was 4 when Jay Leavitt and I baptized his parents Shaun and Rose Elder in Dublin. It was wonderful to have a flood of memories return. In summer 2002 Rose and Shaun visited Salt Lake. They live in Limerick now. He is in the Cork District presidency and she teaches seminary. They are great! | |
