| Comments: Jay A. Leavitt Served 8/79 - 8/81 under Presidents Pugh and Broadbent. Served in Inchicore, Drogheda, Dun Drum, Wexford, Raheny, Dundalk and Finglas. I married in 6/82 to a girl (Deborah) my Bishop introduced me to through the mail a couple of months before I returned home from Ireland. We have five fantastic children: Craig (died of cancer 11/8/2001 at 18), Mark (24, married w/ one daughter), Michelle (22, has music education degree and Violin Performance degree, teaches school), Brett (19, serving in Argentina Salta Mission), and Todd (15). We have lived in Mesa the whole time except for 18 months that we lived in the Detroit area. All is well, my testimony is strong. | |
