An Italophile ever since my first few weeks in the magnificent land of DaVinci, Verdi, and Garibaldi, I wish I had at least one Italian ancestor; unfortunately, I don't. I must content myself with the fact that my wife is half Italian and my children are one fourth Italian.
I miss the Italian members and fellow missionaries whom I grew to love. So many of them have been the subjects of inspiring stories I share with my wife and children.
I sing the praises of Italy so much that my wife wants us to move there and my oldest child wants to study there. |
