Just an update: my unit deploys to Iraq (we think Bagdad) at the end of this month. We're anticipating about 12-18 months, obviously things change pretty quickly over there so who knows how long it will be. Hoping to imrove my Iraqi dialect, as it is quite a bit different from the standard Arabic I was taught (similar to Italian-Spanish difference). Hope everyone is doing well!! |
