My association with Italy and its people is long, deep, profound and inseparable. I was baptized in Italy in 1970 as a military dependent, served a mission there, and had 3 military tours there, including 2 in my mission area. Altogether, I have lived over 15 years in quel bel paese and my family 9. My youngest daughter was born in Napoli. I would be there now, if not for poor health che mi impedisce. I am sure there are many missionaries, both young and old, who have crossed paths with me. Chiedo perdono dai miei colleghi che non ho scelto, ma la mia memoria purtroppo non e' molto buona. My missionary journal is still in boxes from a recent move. Voglio controllare i nomi per non sbagliare. Please forgive me as well if I drop in and out of Italian, ma quello per me, e proprio incrontrollabile quando si tratta d'Italia. Un'affettuoso saluto a tutti i miei fratelli e sorelle! |
