Dear Wonderful Missionaries,
   We have just returned from a great trip to Nauvoo.  
The temple open house was wonderful!  The temple is 
gorgeous!  And such a wonderful spirit.  We also saw 
Iwami Shimai working (her 5th day in the field) at the 
reception area following the temple tour.  She looked 
great! There were about 6000 people / day going through 
the temple.  The reverence and "crowd control" were 
wonderful. 
   OK.  When we got home from our trip, Brian finally 
got his mission call.  He is going to a place that no 
less than 18 of our beloved missionaries' call home.  
He is called to serve in the Hawaii, Honolulu Mission.  
He reports to the MTC on 9/11 so he has a summer to 
keep productive and lots of reading preparation to do.  
He is very excited!  And, he hopes to see a lot of 
you.  Many, who are on the mainland with us, have 
kindly volunteered to visit him or pick him up after 
his mission (aren't they nice?).  Some have said that 
if you serve in "paradise" it shouldn't really count 
for full credit.  Brian just smiles.  
   Anyway, we're hoping to refine our mailing list just 
a little more.  We've had a couple of mistaken 
addresses that we have to clear up, then we'll start 
sending "official" communiques.  In the meantime, 
thanks for you notes, letters, calls.
