Comments:
I graduated from BYU in 1994 with a BA in teaching Japanese. While I went to BYU, I taught at the MTC for 3 1/2 years. After I graduated, I worked in Tokyo teaching English for almost a year.

I now teach Japanese in a local public high school (I've been at the same school for 12 years).

I am an ordinance worker every Friday night at the Las Vegas temple, and I LOVE every minute of it!!! (It doesn't matter how good/bad/ugly my week was, working at the temple makes EVERY weekend GREAT!!!)

I had a first cousin (Craig Roylance) that served in Osaka in mid-1980s. A couple of years ago, I had another first cousin (Mike Roylance) that served in the Nagoya mission, which included the former Osaka mission. Mike even served in my Hirakata area. I've had several former students serve in Osaka, including one (Jared Temple) that just transferred out of Gobo. =D

I REALLY can't believe I've been home for 17 years!!! I'd sure love to hear from some of my Osaka friends!!!

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
