My wife of 20 years, Lisa, and I live with our adopted daughters, Melissa (12) and Sarah (9) in Mansfield, OH, where I work as the director of Ashland University's International Student Services. I am the High Priests Group Leader and Lisa, who lived with me in Japan twice, is the ward pianst and early-morning seminary teacher. I have been lucky to make a dozen or so visits to Japan over the years hitting Nagasaki for the first time last fall. The 26 Christian Martyrs' Memorial and the Atomic Bomb Museum were very moving. the hills and harbor beautiful, and the row of temples, bridges, and Chinese restaurants wonderful.
Let's do a missionary reunion! We could host it in SLC, Tokyo, Abeno, Ohio, or even Mississippi if any of us can get in touch with Blalock Dendobucho. In the meantime, Kami yo mata au made (God be with you 'til we meet again)! |
