I was pleased to find this web site still active. I look forward to hearing from mission friends. My wife and I have been married for seven years this October 2005. We have three children, Aliese Marie born Feb 2001, Carter Stephan born August 2002, and Audrey Gaylinn born March 25, 2005. I ventured out in the private practice of Law in April 2005. Though our hopes of returning to live closer to family were once bright, they seem to be a glimmer in the distance as time continues on, and roots deepen.
I actually sought out this web site to pass along some sad news to those of you who served in Kita Senju/Ueno. Sister Kikue Utagawa passed away on or about February 22, 2005 at the age of 94. I had the privilege to escort Sister Utagawa to many of your homes as she visited her many adopted missionary children. I was always amazed at the love she had for each of you and your families, and her never ending Christ-like love for all. May we all strive to be more like her, and look forward to reuniting with her again someday. I have fond memories of the many days I was able to spend with such a lovely servant of our Heavenly Father. She was truely unique and will be dearly missed. Until we meet again... |
