I've been a research scientist for the Federal govt. studying bears in Alaska for the past 14 years and have been married 22. Three of my girls are in the Japanese immersion program here and one will spend her next school year in Japan... so the tradition lives on. I continue to serve in the Church with faith and have held many callings, as I'm sure my colleagues from Japan have as well. It would be great to hear from some of my former companions! I've never returned to Japan but hope to someday... I'm sure its changed but what a wonderful place to have served the Lord. May God continue to bless those who serve in this most mission field. |
