There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about my mission. I remember at my very first ZC, President Flake said that a mission is great, but marriage is even better....he was always right! Kelly & I have 2 beautiful sons, Weldon & Porter. I have been blessed with the opportunity to stay home with them. I'm currently serving as the Stake Young Women's 1st Counselor...I love it! I remember the day that I found out my visa didn't come through for Portugal & that I was staying in Kentucky. I was so excited, I couldn't imagine serving under any other president or serving with any other group of missionaries! I loved being a full-time missionary & teaching people about the gospel. But, nothing is as great as teaching your own child about the Book of Mormon & the principles of the gospel! I would love to get in contact with anyone that I served with. Please feel free to email me. What I wouldn't give to hear a talk from President Flake!!! |
