Probably the coolest thing that happened was Tuesday night [May 21, 2002] before Elder Butler arrived [in Darkhan] we taught an amazing discussion to a family.
On the way to the discussion, we had to hike over a mountain through a bunch of grazing cows and goats. Then some kids ran up and showed us a hedgehog that they caught. Which was cool.
Then when the discussion started, the second discussion, we asked the father to pray. He gladly accepted, and in his prayer he thanked the Lord for the wonderful answer than he received about the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. I almost jumped out of my chair. I am so glad to share in such experiences. I love this work. [-Isaac Solmes] |
