I am moving to Nebraska to go back to school! I'm so excited even though it will be different as a non- missionary! Let me know if anyone is living in Omaha that can orient me, and let me know if you come to visit.
I was able to visit winter quarters for about an hour this summer (2005) on a church history tour after my internship in Chicago with some fellow students. I was able to see a convert that I taught, and a member from the singles ward. Good times.
I have had wonderful missionary opportunites sharing gospel beliefs and giving out those Books of Mormon to people of all ages--oldest being 96. It does happen--I don't know if the 96 year old will get baptized, but he accepted a Book of Mormon. If you pray and/or are mindfull of missionary experiences they will just naturally happen!! The church is true! The spirit is amazing, and changes lifes. This is the Lords work, and I'm happy to help bring souls unto him. I love you all, but most importantly God loves you. |
