I posted this 7/12/05... several years after the fact.
My angel, Samantha, was born a few weeks ago. Yanna and I are proud, happily sealed parents. We are both excited about our full-time missions, and we continue to share the gospel with friends and neighbors. Yanna is a light to me continually.
I am confidently applying to medical school right now, which was a goal I figured out my last day of my mission. I even told President Giddens that goal in my final interview... all he talked about was something about drawing a line in the sand. "Let a temple marriage be your goal... if you are ever too busy to read your scriptures, then you are too busy." I love that man. I truly, truly do.
Humorous story: I just cut my wifes hair this morning, she asked me. Never tried that before... and she is in here asking for more. :) She will have nothing left by the time I am done!
One more story, The witnesses at my wife and my sealing were the very Elders, Elder Holbrook and Thayne, that baptised Yanna's parents 30 years ago while she was in the womb. How interesting to think of the joy of that.
