Wow, there sure are a ton of memories flooding my mind as I look over the website! Just incase you do not remember me I am very short 4’10” and a bit high strung! I was loving give the nick name “Sister Chatke”, I think by Elder Allen.
I sure did love my mission and even some 12 years later still think of it often. I do keep in touch with one family on a regular basis and a few other families occasionally. When I entered the MTC I had a boyfriend who proposed to me well he did wait and we married in the Chicago Temple Nov 93. We have 3 boys Shawn Aug 96, Ryan Sept 98 and Mark March 00. I enjoy scrapbooking, ok confession I am hopelessly addicted. I also enjoy photography, cross stitching (so who all still has the book mark I cross stitched for them I made over 120 of them!) all crafts in general and spending time with family. I also enjoy cooking, baking, playing board games, web/computer games, e-mail, message boards and chatting on the web. Ok I know like that would be a surprise, “Sister Chatke” liking to chat! Mark will enter full day Kindergarten this August. I was attending U of Phoenix on line (bad idea it was horrible) August I will be attending Purdue U. My major will be Deaf Ed/ Special Ed. I am sub interpreter for the local schools. My husband is a welding inspector for Wabash National (trucking company). June 04 we purchased our first home! Whooo! I had only a few things that I insisted on, air conditioning, a master bathroom, back yard and safe place for the boys to ride bikes and scrapbook room. I have them all! Mark was a premature by 6 weeks and so we spent time in Riley’s Hospital and used the services of the Ronald McDonald House. He was diagnosed with apnea and a few other conditions. He was also delayed mentally, developmentally and physically but has dramatically improved and is doing wonderfully. I have mostly been an at home mom for the last 9 years so going to college full time will be a major change. Looking forward to hearing from you!
