Comments:
Jon Kenneth Bills, age 65, passed Feb 7, 2013. He will be greatly missed.
Born St. George, Utah to Walter and Elsie Mathea Bills April 14, 1947, and grew up in SLC. He attended Highland High School and graduated with a Masters Degree from BYU. He honorably served a mission in the Okinawa, Japan mission, served SLC as a law enforcement officer, and served as a Green Beret.
His entrepreneurial endeavors led him to the founding of several successful construction and development ventures in Utah and California. He was also one of the pioneers in the establishment of the timeshare vacation industry in Utah, Mazatlan Mexico, and across the nation. He was always working on a "deal" and was ingeniously creative & inventive. He is no doubt, in the midst of already working on the next opportunity on the other side of the veil.
He was an accomplished and fiercely competitive athlete, and loved water skiing with his family and friends in Lake Powell, and skiing the slopes of Park City.
Survived by children: Keldon (Jennifer) Moldre, Melissa (Christian Soriano) Moldre-Bills, Jeremy (Allison) Bills, Lindsay (Tyler) Black, and Brynn (Andrew) Nygren, and 15 grandchildren. His brothers: Walt (Karen) Bills, Donald (Ralene) Bills, Randy (Sharon) Bills, Russell (Sherrie) Bills, Ronald Bills and sister: Lori (Duane) Tippets. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Scott Bills and niece, Katie Bills.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
