Elder Glen Blakely was my second senior companion. we served together in
Yokohama in the fall of 1967. He went home not too long after we served
together. I don't know what became of him after that.
Elder Eugene Dalley was one of my junior companions for a short time also in Yokohama about a year after I served with Elder Blakley. Last I heard he was a
Physical Therapist living in the Salt Lake City area. Kent A. Burton 1967to 1969.
Glen Blakely: Released on 5-20-68
Hometown - Ages, Kentucky
Served as the Kumamoto (Kyushu) Branch
President & District Leader as his final assignment
His was a 2 1/2 year call so he probably landed
in Japan around Nov '65.
2 Kids - I am as healthy as an ox, but have gone the rounds with West Nile, stage four cancer, and beloved gallbladder was remove for safe keeping.

I teach Ceramics (a little on the Japanese style, oh well a lot), Art Apperication, and I handle our fieldtrips. We leave for Europe for 20 days early next Wednesday, May 15, 2013. After I get back I will be in Mexico at Mata Ortiz with a group of 9 people for four days. A couple of days after that I take a group of 40 students up the coast to San Francisco. That will give me time to rest up before teaching a couple of summer school classes.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
