Mizue (Min Min) Funakoshi
Hello Wayne,
I think some of the information for Funakoshi Mizue
Shimai is incorrect.
I am pretty sure that her mission ended in November of
1967. Kita Shibu Senkyoshi took an outing to Nikko in
October of 1967 and she is in one the group photo.
However I received a letter from her from Hiroshima in
November 1967 so she must have returned home.
From photos, I can confirm that she (and I) served
together in Sendai and Tokyo Kita Shibu.
