Comments:
After my mission I attended BYU, medical school at the U of U, and finished residency in internal medicine and specialty training in allergy. I work at the Salt Lake Clinic now. Kathy and I have 4 children, 3 of whom are married, and six grandchildren all of whom are cute. We live in Monument Park Stake in Salt Lake. Kathy and I enjoy visiting our family in Nebraska and California. I practiced Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology at the former Salt Lake Clinic until 1997, when the clinic became part of Intermountain Healthcare. I had satellite offices also in Bountiful and saw patients in Intermountain Sandy Clinic for 22 years. Kathy and I served an LDS mission in Seattle from 2007 to 2010, and have returned to full-time practice of allergy/immunology beginning summer, 2010. It has been very gratifying to see former patients return for ongoing allergy care.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
