Married in 1976, and still married!! Sue and I have seven children and 3 grandchildren. We are currently serving as Stake Employment Specialists in the Gold Coast Australia Stake.
Our oldest son served in Tokyo North Mission in '97-'99. And our 2nd son served in Cambodia Phnom Phen Mission in '01-'03.

Life has been interesting - never what we expected but definitely what we needed. Looking forward to the 2nd half.

I bunked with Elder Oldfield in Nagoya years ago. There were two companion sets in that little two story wood structured home apartment. At that time I was a district leader and Elder Oldfield was partnered with the other elder.
We both finished under President Edward Okazaki. Pres. Okazaki died of a heart attack while dining with friends in SLC about 14 years ago. Sister Chieko Okazaki, his wife, has been in Seattle a number of times...most recently this past February. I still feel she is my mission mom and is now a very young and spry 80 years of age. She usually stays at our home when here. BTW, her mother is still living and doing quite well. Morrison Choro

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
