I am an alumnus of the Japan and Japan East Missions. I had a few senior companions from NFE Mission. James Clawson, Lewellen Smith, and some zone leaders Kent McKell and Gurr.
I came upon the story by Michael R.E. Sanders of his confirmation blessing of Kikuchi Bin. I taught and baptized his wife Kanesaki Hiroko. I worked very closely with them in 2017-2019 serving as finance secretary in Japan Sapporo Mission home. I spent 22 months of my young mission on Hokkaido, over 9 months in Sapporo and opened a new area, the second in Sapporo just before leaving in 1971. |
