In 1999 I married Kathleen Updike from Falls Church, Virginia. (I'm from Sweet Home, Oregon.) We now have 7 children. Daughter Brooklyn was born in 2000. Sons Nathanael, Powell, Reagan, and August were born in 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2008. Twin daughters Allisyn and Kathryn were born in 2010. Allisyn is now deceased.
In 1995 I earned a BA from BYU in Political Science and History Teaching. In 1998 I earned a JD from BYU Law School. In 2006 I earned a PhD from Stanford University in Political Science. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Political Science, teaching in the Law & Constitutional Studies major, at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. |
