Eliot Andrew Butler, 65, Salem 5th Ward, Salem Utah Stake; Young Men adviser, former stake president, bishop and counselor, Sunday School teacher, early morning seminary teacher; served in Canadian Mission, 1947-49; chemistry professor at BYU; received bachelor's and doctoral degrees from California Institute of Technology; born in Snowflake, Ariz., a son of David Amasa and Jane Maxwell Butler; married Anna Mae Hughes; four children.
She is a Primary teacher, former Relief Society president and teacher, Primary teacher, Sunday School librarian; served in Canadian Mission, 1946-48; attended BYU; born in Los Angeles, Calif., a daughter of Alfred Bailey and Lois Sumsion Hughes. |
