We just moved to Arizona in August 2006. My husband is attending medical school at Midwestern University. We have two little ones. Our little boy is two and half years old and our little girl is 4 months old. We call our little boy hercules because he is so darn strong - (he started walking at seven months) and the energizer bunny because he just goes,goes, and goes. Our little girl just jabbers away. They seriously bring so much joy to our little family. They both look exactly like their daddy, lots of Blonde hair and blue eyes.
We have not received callings since we moved here but for the past five years I have been in primary as a teacher, a nursery leader, 1st counselor, pianst, music leader. It was very exciting for me while Sister Clegg was in the general primary presidency.
When I graduated with my masters my husband and I went to Portugal for five weeks (this was before we had children). My husband served in the Lisbon South Mission. So we were able to show each other our missions. We even went to madeira. We had a blast revisiting our missions. We also had a few missionary opportunities together both with nonmembers and less actives. It was amazing how smoothly it worked out together and makes me that much more excited for us to go on a mission together. While in Portugal, people would turn to me to tell me "Wow he speaks really good portuguese" and congratulate me as if I taught my husband. He really stands out there being blonde hair and blue eyes. We would just laugh. |
