The Moscow South Mission boundries have changed again. So once again the Moscow South Mission consists of about half the city of Moscow.
According to news I have recieved of the last District conference the number of active members in the city has reached a point where a Stake could finally be created. The creation of a Stake though has been delayed in the hopes of instead of creating 2 Stakes. The District President feared that by creating a Stake this early it might hamper church growth potential.
So now they are going to be creating several smaller branches to server the Podmoskovie areas to better benifit the members who travel and hour or more to get to church.
The change in the mission boundries again was to justify brining of more missionaries to Moscow to help achieve the goal of 2 Stakes. Also with these changes the Moscow Mission has been renamed to the Moscow West Mission.
