| Comments: Wow, I miss you people. Thanks for maintaining this, Brian. I've just moved to Salt Lake City after 10 years in Massachusetts. I'm preparing to write a dissertation on the spiritual significance of dining (I'm in a Religious Studies department), and I still love to cook. My husband, Sam, speaks Russian, and he and I spent some months living in St. Petersburg in 1999, where we got to have two visits with Tania and Slava Prach--whom we miss terribly. I was also able to visit old friends in Samara, where things were a lot more commercial than before and people were hungrier. We have two little girls. Amelia will be four in October (2006) and Lucia just turned two. They both got to play with Sarah Watkins Schueller's little kids this afternoon. Send me some notes! | |
