| Comments: Well it has been a while since my mission has come and gone, but I frequently think about the great experiences I had. After I returned I married and I currently have two girls and one boy. Katya, age 10, Anya, age 6 and Kade 3. I was lucky enough to have the oppurtunity to use my language skills when I returned home. Spokane Wa. has a large russian population and I was able to take several tests to become a certified social service and medical interpreter for the State of Washington. This provided me with a good income while I studied to become a paramedic. I then decided to further my medical career, so I went back to school to become a doctor. I now work in private practice in Spokane. I went back to Russia in July 2004 and it was awesome! I spent some time in Moscow and St. Pete. Anyway post-mission life is good. Poka, Jake Deakins | |
