| Comments: After Russia (and Moldova) I came back to BYU and got a bachelors and masters studying bugs. I got to travel around with that (literally!) and do some fascinating research on ice crawler insects. I worked hard, got burned out with grad school, and turned down a bunch of PhD programs. I married a girl from Germany, got into running, mountain biking, and triathlon, and started teaching science at a school for troubled kids. It's been great for the last 4 years, but we're ready for a change and I was never really settled with that course, so now I'm applying at PhD programs again. We'll see what happens next with that! | |
