3-17-08 ~ We got word today that Nate is being transfered to Sada. His new companion is Elder Wise. He LOVED Uitenhage and will miss the people. He was able to have his first baptism two days before he left, Sister Thami Konza.
6-15-08 ~ Nate and Elder Wise were kept very busy in SADA! But atlas, all things must end. He has been transfered to the township of Kwa Dwesi, just outside of Port Elizabeth, but he is excited to be back near his first area of Uitenhage. (He lives in Despatch, works in Kwa Dwesi, and shops in Uitenhage!)He has been made senior companion and trainer to new missionary Elder Heiner from Idaho. He is 1/3 of the way done!
4-3-09 ~ Nate is now serving with Elder Fausett in the Mission Office. He is in charge of making all mission travel arrangements, i.e. transfers, Elders leaving for home and all of the Mission Pres. travel when he tours the mission. He is kept very busy but loving it. He and Elder Fausett then go out and proselyte after 5 pm. He is happy to be in Cape Town and loves serving with another fellow Utahn who entered the mission field the same time as him. Just over 6 months left! |
