News Item: Manzini Branch update
Displaying 1 - 1 of 1 -- Add News
I spoke to President Seme Simelane this past week and I got an update on the branch in Manzini.
Home teaching the big topic right now. Seme wants to get that going as best as they can to inprove retention and attendence. They have about 14-15 active Melchizedek Priesthood holders which is very good for the small branch.
Two young men have received mission calls as well! Mghampeni (I probably miss spelled that) Duma got his call to Kenya and leaves the end of Jan. 2003. Another guy with the last name of Mbimlu will serve in Joburg. From what Seme said they are both really excited and can't wait to go.
One last thing, Millu, Seme's wife, had their second son on 13 Sept 2002. His name is Yuri which means "light of God". Both mom and baby are doing well.
If you want to contact Seme his phone number is (268) 505-7506. (You have to dial 011 first if you are calling from the states)
Have a great day.
