Loved my mission in Barcelona! Was a great training ground and chance to serve. Have 7 kids, 5 living, oldest got back from Washington Kennewick mission last year, studying pre med at BUY, getting married in July 2011. Have a daughter, sophomore at Weber State, studying ? but learning to spend much money on clothes. Have a son, senior at Davis High School, just played Boo Radley in "To Kill a Mockingbird" this week. Have a 12 year old son in 7th grade (just went to his Band concert tonight, plays percussion) and a 9 year old daughter who finally, by teasing me EVERY DAY about being pregnant, having triplets, etc, into losing 25 pounds last year. Married Maureen, RM from Phillipines and RN. Served on High Council for 7.5 years, now am the High Poop Grease Eater (sorry, that's my Dad's way of saying High Priest Group Leader!), miss working with the Young Single Adults. Working as a Family Physician for Intermountain Healthcare. Miss my days in Spain! Have been having Paella with Steve Durrant and Gary Christensen on a yearly or biannual basis. Have been serving as President of Collegium Aesculapium, a worldwide LDS physicians group, the last couple years. got to eat dinner and introduce Sister Julie B. Beck last year, eat dinner with Pres. Eyring and his wife the year before. Will be eating dinner with Pres. Uchtdorf and his family later this month, introducing him. Got to meet with him in his office, then shook hands with Pres. Monson after. Great men! It's all true, my friends! Love it! Share it! |
