Our oldest son, Jason, served in the Oslo, Norway Mission (returned home December 2003). He is now married w/ 4 children. His sweetheart, Guyla, was a returned sister missionary that served in South Africa. Our next son, Brandon, is still finding his place (2+ years of college, lots of sports involvement, various jobs but chose not to serve a mission at this stage of life). He is a great kid and has a big caring heart for others. Our daughter, Lindsey, completed her 3rd year at BYU-Idaho and enjoyed her friends and activities there. She transferred her credits back to New Mexico (didn't know why at the time ...) and met a local returned missionary a few months later here in New Mexico. They just married in the ABQ, NM Temple 1/14/2012. She is now Mrs. Gage Kemsley! A young man from our home ward served in the Spain, Malaga mission (returned home April 2004). His name is Elder Matthew Lane from Rio Rancho, NM. I have had the opportunity of returning to Spain 3 times since completing my mission ... 1997 with my wife, 1999 with Elder Robert Trammel for the dedication of the Madrid Temple, 2003 with my son, Jason as he returned home from his mission to Norway. |
