I'm an excited missionary mom! Our son, Elder Aaron Blakley, entered the MTC in SLC on 6/16 and has now just arrived Wed. 8/25 in Taipei. We were really grateful to President Perkins for informing us of his safe arrival, as Typhoon Aere was just then swinging by Taiwan. As a result, our son was held over in Hong Kong for 8 hours, bringing his total travel time from SLC to 34 hours! We're so glad our prayers for a safe journey were answered! President Perkins informed us that he already has him paired for training with Elder Fuller of Washington state. Aaron has a great testimony and with the companionship of the Holy Ghost I know he will touch alot of hearts. |
