My father, Fred W. Stone, was called in 1955 to serve as President of the Nuku'Alofa Mission. My mother, Sylvia Mary Rider Stone, as Mission Mother and Mission RS President. I was 16 at the time and did not attend school there but was called to teach Forum 3B core, geography, typing and Book of Mormon. My last year was teaching at Ha'alaufuli, Vava'u Primary school with Elder Armand Glick, Siope Talakai, Emaline 'Ulu'ave (Unga) and Melelini Nau.

After my mission, at the age of 19, I recieved my Endowments in the NZ Temple, the first session, in the Tongan Language. I have photos to share and stories to tell. I belong to the Tonga/Tomasi, Fonua, Hafoka, Misistana Vea family sities and would consider joining other sites for sharing.
