Comments:
I was married to Robert in Nov. 1996. We have lived in CO except for a short stay in FL (2001-02). We have three beautiful children: Abigayle Elizabeth Petty 7 1/2 yrs & Anderson Graham Petty 6 1/2 yrs & Susanah Amie Karon Petty 1yr. They are growing so fast. I love being at home with my children; they really keep me running but I learn so much from them. I love to see them grow and develop. It is amazing. Being a parent has taught me so much about unconditional love. Robert is a convert ('96) and works in the Information Technology field. It's hard to believe we've been married for 10 years. He is my best friend. We recently moved into a new ward and stake. He was called as the Sunday School President and I was called as the Ward Activities Chairman. I'm so excited about this calling. I love to plan an activity and look forward to getting to know and helping our ward family stay close. I love the Lord and His gospel and know He has always guided my life and put me where He wants me to be at that time. Life can get really overwhelming quite often. It can be easy to get caught in the 'I can fix this myself' mode; especially when you're strong in the gospel. Our trials are not usually like those of Job's but even in our day to day struggles we must use our trust and faith and rely on the Lord. Trials are our opportunity to draw close to the Lord. This has been an area of real testimony growth for me this past couple of years. I am so thankful the Lord gives me the opportunity to rely on Him so that He can mold and refine me into a daughter worthy to be called His. I know His gospel to be true. I would love to hear from any of you from our mission and how thing are going!! I am terrible at correspondence but my goal for 2007 is to make myself take the time to keep in touch better. I hope to see us all together at a reunion in the future!
